Sixteen-year-old Kaylee Gain remains hospitalized with traumatic brain injuries after a widely seen online fight.
A GoFundMe page has been set up to assist with medical expenses, as she continues to suffer from brain bleeding and swelling in critical condition.
The full extent of brain damage won't be known until she wakes up, but the recovery process is anticipated to be mentally and financially challenging for her family.
The incident occurred near Hazelwood East High School, where Gain was involved in a fight captured in a viral video showing her head being repeatedly slammed into the ground.
