Cleveland Browns running back Nick Chubb sustained a severe knee injury during a Monday night game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
The injury occurred in the second quarter when Chubb was tackled by Steelers safety Minkah Fitzpatrick.
He was unable to stand and appeared to be in immense pain, with his left knee visibly injured.
The TV broadcasters chose not to show close-up replays of the injury due to its graphic nature.
Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski confirmed that Chubb's injury is significant and is expected to sideline him for the rest of the season, and the Browns ultimately lost the game to the Steelers with a score of 26-22.
