Mariah Carey is officially returning to the spotlight with her sixteenth studio album, Here for It All, set for release on September 26, 2025. The project marks her first full-length collection of original material since 2018’s Caution and will be released through her own imprint, Mariah, in partnership with Gamma, the media company co-founded by former Apple executive Larry Jackson. Longtime collaborator L.A. Reid has also returned as executive producer, having previously worked with Carey on The Emancipation of Mimi and Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel.
Carey has described Here for It All as a deeply personal record, reflecting on her journey over the past decade, including her experiences as a mother to twins Monroe and Moroccan, now 14 years old. Fans can expect her signature ballads alongside contemporary R&B, hip-hop, and soulful tracks, creating a diverse listening experience. The album has already been previewed by two singles: Type Dangerous, released in June, which samples Eric B. & Rakim’s Eric B. Is President and channels hip-hop soul and New Jack Swing influences, and Sugar Sweet, a collaboration with Shenseea and Kehlani that dropped in July.
