Young Thug interrogation audio resurfaces and goes viral online

A resurfaced two-hour interrogation audio of rapper Young Thug has ignited widespread online debate, after fans began sharing the clip widely on social media Wednesday. In the recording, Young Thug appears to name-drop Peewee Roscoe—infamous for his alleged involvement in a 2015 attack on Lil Wayne’s tour bus—prompting backlash and renewed scrutiny of his public loyalty to associates.

Shortly after the audio began circulating, Young Thug took to X (formerly Twitter) to address the controversy head-on. “They didn’t play my interrogation video in court cause I helped my brada #Ratwhere?” he wrote, dismissing allegations of snitching and asserting that his mention of Roscoe was in the context of support, not cooperation.

Fan reactions have been sharply divided. While some accused Thug of hypocrisy—considering his past criticism of artists accused of cooperating with law enforcement—others defended him. One user on X posted, “Your loyalty was never in question,” while another lamented: “Not mad at the video. Mad at the fact you disowned Gunna over the same situation.”

The original audio, according to sources, was released nearly two years ago and was reshared by ThuggerDaily and various influencers, including DJ Akademiks. Despite its age, the clip’s reemergence has once again spotlighted tensions between Young Thug and fellow rapper Gunna—who took an Alford plea in the YSL RICO case in December 2022. Gunna maintained at the time that he had not cooperated with prosecutors—yet the controversy has lingered among fans.

As the audio continues to fuel conversation, the uproar underscores how fragile public perception remains amid unresolved narratives of loyalty, betrayal, and the high-stakes fallout from the YSL legal saga.
