Neil Patrick Harris has apologized for a controversial joke made at a Halloween party he hosted in 2011, where a meat and cheese buffet was labeled 'The Corpse of Amy Winehouse.'
The joke resurfaced online recently, prompting Harris to express regret for the off-color humor made just months after Winehouse's death.
The image was initially shared on social media by Justin Mikita, the husband of actor Jesse Tyler Ferguson, who attended the party.
Harris and his husband, David Burtka, have since apologized for the incident.
