Aidan Maese-Czeropski, a US Senate staffer, has lost his job after allegedly filming himself engaging in sexual activity in a Judiciary Committee hearing room, according to Senator Ben Cardin (D-Maryland).
The 24-year-old legislative aide faced accusations of sharing the exp**cit video on X (formerly known as Twitter), with his face reportedly visible.
The video, lasting about eight seconds, was said to have been recorded in the same room used for Supreme Court nominee hearings and James Comey's testimony on alleged Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election.
The United States Capitol Police initiated an investigation into potential criminal violations following the video's circulation.
