Dale Mooney, a 53-year-old resident of Newmarket, New Hampshire, tragically died following an altercation at Gillette Stadium while attending a Patriots game against the Dolphins.
Witnesses reported that Mooney and his friends were taunted by Dolphins fans before a violent confrontation occurred during the fourth quarter.
Mooney was rushed to Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro, where he was pronounced dead just before midnight.

His wife, Lisa Mooney, expressed confidence that video footage would show Dale didn't initiate any violence.
Dale Mooney, a Patriots season-ticket holder for 30 years and a father to two adult sons, was also known for his brave 2009 rescue of a girl caught in the rocks at Hampton Beach, where he carried her to safety.
