Last year, a video of Sajjad Heydari carrying his wife Mona's severed head caused widespread outrage.
She had reportedly accused her husband of domestic violence before the murder.
The couple had been married since Mona was 12 years old, and she had given birth to their son at the age of 14.
Sajjad has been sentenced to eight years in prison in Iran, the judiciary says.
