I cared for you, supported you in any way I could, and loved you for who you are. But you did not see my worth. You left me. I was really hurt. I cried every night. It took me several months to move on.
Now that I’m finally over you, you’re telling me that you already appreciate everything that I did for you before. And you want me back in your life.
But it’s too late now. I’m already okay without you. So it’s true. You won’t realize the value of someone until they’re gone.
